The only reason I didn't refuse to leave the Cleo office on Friday afternoon is because my partner in crime had flown down to Sydney earlier that day. We proceeded to enjoy a fun filled (albeit jam packed) long weekend of eating, drinking, shopping and adventuring through the city. My only complaint? It wasn't long enough!
Friday night Italian feast at Pompeii's. I'm not sure what my pizza was called, because I asked for a surprise, but it was INCREDIBLE.
My sister thinks we should upload this snap of Dad to the "Awkward Lean" website...
Our ride. ;)
Soaking up the beautiful weather at Circular Quay. Hello sunshine, blue sky and glistening water.
Just your average street performer... We were really digging it until she asked onlookers to give her a certain amount of money after the show.
So many pretty sweet treats!

An epic old pub at the rocks and a fairly decent sprawl!

Boyfriend consumed three strawberry ice creams over the weekend.
A visit to the Opera house to swoon over the epic architecture (which I'll never tire of) and take advantage of the air con.

A leisurely stroll through the Botanic Gardens. I now have a "My Pictures" folder bursting with flowers.
The Isis gang had a big brawl, until this cute little seagull rocked up.

At this point, boyfriend stumbled upon someone's misplaced phone. As we like to think we're good Samaritans, we investigated who the owner was and let her know she had left her phone at the rear of a half lady/half lion statue. We then handed it into security. Gold stars for us.

Family dinner (vegetarian lasagna) whipped up by my gorgeous stepmother. We all went back for seconds.
Our latest Starshots shoot.
Gig at an old haunt.
Somewhat hungover Sunday brunch at an old fave (Green's cafe, Bondi). Baked Gruyere eggs with spinach and mushrooms for me, alongside crusty bread and a ramekin of chutney. Mmmmm.

On the ferry to LUNA PARK (at which point my camera battery decided to die again). We had THE BEST TIME. It was pouring with rain and we went mental on an old school rollercoaster and a ride called "The UFO" which forced us to fear for our lives.

More sweet treats.
'Twas a bit chilly. Wearing Review frock and Alannah Hill cardy... I'm too scared to do proper outfit shots.

Bussing through the inner west. 'Scuse the seedy regrowth.

Indulged in a coffee and croissant to satisfy my wannabe French self. Strawberry milkshake for strawberry
flavour obsessed boyfriend.
We were rather inspired by Newtown's scenery and stores. It had been a while.

Sipped on a juice while the men dug in. Check out Dad's epic veggie burger.
Beer break justified by the fact that we'd had a big day of shopping.
Our seedy airport spread. Veggie pattie subway 6" sub for me. McDonald's galore for boyfriend.
Back in Brisneyland.
