Over the past two weekends I scored some time off work and was able to do nothing but indulge in some much needed relaxation time. During the first weekend, I hit up the Sunshine Coast with my partner in crime and little sis to visit the fam' and my visiting Grandma. We munched on stone fired open pizzas at Habits, soaked up the sunshine at Cotton Tree Park and chatted over tea and biccies at Grandma's apartment overlooking Mooloolaba Beach.
Now I've just returned from a little trip to Byron Bay with sis. Highlights include: sampling the local Thai food, presenting my first wedding speech, enjoying champagne and a droolworthy lunch at Rae's on Wategos (Richard Branson's fave apparently), the gobsmackingly beautiful beaches, a cheeky Sunday night out, befriending some hilarious foreign travellers and a hungover breakfast feast at Byron Fresh. Super fun!
As much as I adore Brisbane, sometimes it's a relief to ditch the city for the coast, if only for a day or so. Where's the last place you escaped to?

These are my favourite posts of yours, random imgaes of your life. Love!
