Above is a little summin' summin' I whipped up for Charlie Magazine amidst bundles of university work. But anyway. Long time, no see, dear blogosphere. Thanks to my pitiful attempt to post this month, I have officially fallen into the "bad blogger" category. Sorry about that. I've even neglected my second boyfriend - Mr Canon camera. Poor guy. Life has been charging along at full-throttle speed since I started a second job at 5.30am last Tuesday (post 3.30am wake up and very minimal sleep - eeek!).
Tomorrow morning requires me to drag my weary body out of bed at another ridonkulous hour to get to the airport. I'm off to Sydney to spend the week playing in the Madison magazine offices as their token workie gal. If you see a blonde woman gazing adoringly into the ACP Magazines building on Park Street, please come and say hiya. Nonetheless, I will be sure to keep you all posted on my little adventure! I'm also looking forward to catching up with some loved ones, including my fabulous furry friend Oliver:
In the meantime I've been...
Reading: The Swan Thief (confession: the first chapter), Mia Freedman's Mamamia and Sarah Wilson's Sarah Wilson.
Listening to: Blondie, The Church, The Cult, The Diodes, The Psychedelic Furs and whatever else my boyfriend chooses to deafen me with (in a good way).
Wearing: Snuggly flannelette pyjamas as frequently as possible. Aside from them: silky pussybow blouses, lacy stockings, ruffles galore, red red lippy, leopard print flats and sixties inspired coats. Getting in touch with my feminine side, you could say.
Watching: Masterchef. Hayden. 'Tis all.
Drinking: Sauv Blanc after a long day (I simply cannot warm to red, courtesy of a horrible teenage experience) and pulpy orange juice to attack the onset of cold symptoms.
Eating: Delicious Greek feasts (due to anniversary celebrations), korma curry, hearty pumpkin soup, puddle cookies, tofu anything, all natural nut butter on wholemeal toast and Vegerama a.k.a vegetarian heaven. (All of which not every day, obviously.)
Trying to: Get adequate sleep.
Saving: For this time next year.
Wanting to: Kidnap a cutesy kitten, create a magazine, cultivate a herb and/or vegetable garden and dig out my dusty sewing machine.
Wishing: I could freeze time/wrinkles. Can I please be 21 forever? Life = good!
Loving: Steamy showers, my godsent electric blanket, using wintry weather as an excuse for endless shopping, USA gifts from Mum, soaking up the sunshine on chilly days, cuddly movie nights, cosy coffee nooks and burning incense.
Stay warm/happy all. ♥

Nawww Oliver is gorgeous!
